Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani Peruvian Muay Thai fighter and mixed martial artist who currently competing within the UFC flyweight division. She is the younger sister of former UFC Flyweight champ and co- UFC athlete Valentina. Antonina Shevchenko began her fight sporting career with an Muay Thai Kickboxer and debuted in the IFMA World Championship Tournament 2003 Shevchenko was the winner of the event and defeated Suzane Miller in the finals by a unanimous decision. Antonina then won a Silver Medal in 2007, a bronze Medal in 2008, a gold medal in the year 2011, and the IFMA Amateure 2016 Muay Tha World Champion. Antonia launched her professional career when she was in the year 2003. She has taken home numerous titles including the K-1 World Championships the Lion Fight Lightweight World Championships and WMC as well as Phoenix FC World Championships. Antonina's last fight was against Isa Tiedblad Keskikangas, who was fighting at the Phoenix Fighting Championship. The victory was a unanimous one. Antonina Schevchenko kicked off her professional MMA professional career back in the year 2002 with the victory over Anara Baanova, during the KFK Cup of Kyrgystan. She took the title with a TKO at the end of round 2. She went on to win her 2 subsequent fights and both of them at the WXF X-Impact World Championships of 2003. She was awarded an MMA record of 3-0. Shevchenko was absent from MMA in order to concentrate on boxing. She made her return to fight Anissa Haddaoui at Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko beat Anissa by unanimous decision, and then she defeated Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. She joined Dana White Contender Series 2018 after leaving the promotion. Shevchenko beat Jaimelene Nievera during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11 Antonina used her superior fighting abilities in order to TKO Nievera in the clinch via knees to the body. Antonina's UFC contract was re-extended following this victory. Antonina received an UFC contract following her victory. Shevchenko beat Roxanne Modeafferi by a unanimous decision. However, she then fell in her second fight because of an unanimous verdict. Antonina rebounded from the defeat and fought Lucie Prudilova in UFC on ESPN Covingtonvs. Lawler by submitting a back naked choke submission. It was the top fight of the night in this fight. Shevchenko was a 1-2 winner in her next 3-fights, defeating Ariane Lipski, and then falling to Katlyn Chookagian and Andrea Lee. Antonina was recently defeated by Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
